The “Poniente de Tuxtla” Rotary Club supports Odres Nuevos Chiapas AC with passion because of the work that every day takes place for about 100 children, adolescents and youth at Casa Hogar Alegre who provide them what family, society and government have failed.
That´s why we have launched 2 projects that will create a culture of work and self-improvement in youth also the opportunity for self-sufficiency in their feeding.
Project: Bakery
Description: Provide equipment and supplies to start a bakery, where they will prepare products for own consumption and for sale, this will generate an income to mantain the project in operation permanently.
Requirements: Convection oven, floor mixer, countertop mixer, bread slicer trays, shelves, pans, working tables, utensils, inputs to start.
Investment: $24,480 USD

Project: Recycling plastic bottles
Description: Provide the equipment and elements needed to process plastic bottles and create small chips that are sold to companies that make new plastic products. Profits from sales will be used to buy food.
Requirements: Shredder for plastic bottles, vertical conveyor belt, collector, knive sharpeners, working capital.
Investment: 24, 935 USD.
